our home

when we first moved into this house i figured i would share photos as we got things done, but it turns out my diy eyes were bigger than my time and budget - so things are moving, but very slowly. so with my want to show off my house (done or not) and your pleas to see photos i am changing over to a post as i go attitude full of before and after photos and progress.

this may not be my dream house or your idea of a great house, but it is our first home and it is truly where our hearts have taken up residence. it really is like a mini version of my dream house, the only thing i would change is one more room, a yard, a bigger garage and a den. i feel blessed we were able to buy a brand new home with the amazing custom upgraded details that it has - sure it has no yard, but who likes to mow the lawn anyway?

finally getting to work on this page, i will update as things get done! for now you can view our to-do list to get an idea of the fun we are in store for. we're no young house love, but i have a lot of ideas up my sleeve i can't wait to put into motion in our first home; who know, i may never want to leave!

while we knock things of that monstrous list i will post links here. i apologize in advance - i get caught up in the moment and don't do a good job documenting everything we do but i am always open to answer questions and try and recreate my steps, just ask! i hope you already follow me on pintrest - i am a major copier, and you'll find a lot of my ideas come straight from there. check out the girls room re-do board, you can get a really good idea of the amazingness in store for their very large bedroom!
